12/31/2007. This aircraft was built by de Havilland at Hatfield as a B.IV Series II, powered by two 1,460 hp Rolls-Royce Merlin 21/23 liquid-cooled, 12-cylinder, V-engines. It was delivered to No. 105 Squadron and crashed on its first operation on October 20, 1942, an attack at Hannover Germany. The pilots F/S L.W. Deeth and W/O F.E.M. Hicks were killed.

Note the stopped and feathered propeller.
