10/31/2018. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "The pictured aircraft was built as an F-4B-27-MC and was converted to an F-4N. It was transferred to the MASDC on February 7, 1984, coded 8F0159. Subsequently it was converted to a QF-4N drone, it was written after a crash landing on May 15, 1990."

04/14/2005. Remarks by Howard Rundberg: "The in-flight photo shows the project "Bee Line" prototype airplane, with "4N" painted on the drop tank, over Coronado's Glorietta Bay on final approach to runway 29 at NAS North Island. The "Bee Line" F-4N was the final configuration of the Navy F-4A/B/N series that were equipped with the Airborne Missile Control System AERO-1A, which included the APQ-72 Radar and APA-157 Sparrow-III Missile Illumimator."
