06/30/2011. Remarks by Geoff Russell: "I used to fly VH-KHL and took this photo before wiping the morning dew from the canopy. VH-KHL was Franklin engined with wooden main rotor blades, and had hydraulic assistance only on the collective. I recall that according to the manual, VH-KHL was built in 1957 and had spent time in Canada with a logging company. This helicopter was reported as being destroyed in an accident at Moorabbin, Victoria, Australia, on 7th January 1989."
