Beagle A.109 Airedale

04/19/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The prototype A.109 (G-25-11, later G-ARKE, c/n B.501) was flown for the first time on 16 April, 1961, followed by the first of seven pre-production A.109s (G-ARKF, c/n B.502) on 15 June, 1961. The first of fifty initial production A.109s (G-ARXB, c/n B.509) was flown for the first time on 24 February, 1962; eventually, only 35 were completed.

The CAA registration G-ASBZ was reserved for c/n B.525, this was not taken up as the aircraft went to Australia. There it was registered as VH-UEP on January 11, 1963, and since has been registered as such apart from period March 15 to September 1, 1975 when it was deregistered."
