Nemeth Umbrellaplane

Also nicknamed the "Umbrellaplane", "Roundwingplane" and "Parachuteplane", this peculiar aircraft was designed by Steven Paul Nemeth of Chicago, Illinois, and was constructed by students of the Miami University at Oxford, Ohio, it first flew in 1934. It had a circular wing trussed above a lengthened Alliance Argo fuselage, power plant was an 110 hp Warner Scarab five-cylinder air-cooled radial engine. It had STOL performance.
