Meyers Midget

From the Aerofiles: "Charles W. Meyers of Greensboro, North Carolina, USA, built the Midget in 1926. The single-seat open biplane was powered by a 32 hp Bristol Cherub, had tapered wings, with lower wing underslung, and stilt-like landing gear. The construction technique was unusual in using a girder and bulkhead arrangement for the all-wood, rigid-truss fuselage. Demonstrated at the 1926 Nationals, but was forced down with carburetor problems. Later destroyed in a crash following a motor failure."
