08/31/2007. The Freighter was designed as bush plane, fitted with large freight doors at both sides of the rear cabin, a large door at the front on the port side and a large hatch in the front cabin floor. In the passenger version up to ten passengers could be carried. In total five aircraft were built, the pictured one was one of the two passenger aircraft. It was bought by United Air Transport but was destroyed by an engine fire at Chicago on its delivery flight in February 1939. |
