11/30/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This single seat parasol monoplane fighter was designed by Captain Frank Barnwell. Three prototypes were ordered and the first two were delivered to the RAF in 1923.
The third prototype was built as a two-seat biplane, the lower wing set further back to counter the change in center of gravity due to the gunner's cockpit aft of the pilot. Powered by a 425 hp Bristol Jupiter Mk.III radial engine the aircraft offered relatively good performance, but was not ordered into production as it had inherent structural weaknesses."
