09/30/2015. Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "The GQ-1 Monogast was an original design single-seat homebuilt aircraft of Gaston Quaissard who built the first example. This aircraft made the first flight on November 15, 1983, registered as F-WYQT and was powered by a 47 hp VW1600 engine. Seven months later, July 6, 1984 it was registered F-PYQT, as it had received its CofA.
A second GQ-1, registered F-PCLD and using the same engine type, followed in 1992; this was built by Daniel Labrunie, also of France."
