08/31/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was manufactured by General Motors as a TBM-3 and delivered to the USN, s/n 53687. It was transferred to the RCN in June 1950 and was designated Avenger AS.Mk.3. It went to Fairey Aviation Canada on November 20, 1956 (who performed heavy maintenance for the RCN), and was struck off on December 28, 1956. The fate of the aircraft is unknown."
