The second prototype was delivered to the CEV (Centre d'Essais en Vol, flight test center) at Marignane in November 1949 for maneuverability trials, altitudes up to 49,210 ft (15,000 m) were attained. Flown by test pilot Charles Monier the aircraft was damaged on landing on February 1, 1950, following a malfunction of the nose wheel doors.
