04/30/2011. Remarks by
Walter van Tilborg: "The 8C2 was an original design side-by-side two-seat homebuilt aircraft of Gérard Blavier from Milon-la-Chapelle, France and was powered by an 160 hp Lycoming IO-320 four-cylinder horizontally-opposed air-cooled engine. The 8C2 featured a tricycle type landing gear with fixed main wheels and a retractable nose wheel. It was of all wood construction, while the tanks, flaps and wheel fairings were of composite material. The sole example first flew in September 1996 and it was publicly shown during the
RSA rallye at Épinal 1997.
