Walter van Tilborg: "The Blue Sky was an own design homebuilt light plane of Kenneth R. Dahle of Milford, Nebraska and constructed in the period 1986-1991. The aircraft featured a mixed wood and composite material construction and had a prominent elliptical wing plan form. Powered by a 60 hp HAPI/VW 1835 cc engine the one-of-a-kind Blue Sky was first flown on October 21, 1991. The aircraft had a short life, the registration was cancelled January 28, 1994, reasoned as destroyed."
