08/31/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The prototype flew for the first time, registered as PH-NDW, from Schiphol with Fokker test-pilot Hugo Burgerhout at the controls, on March 13, 1950.
(D-101)
The registration was cancelled on April 3, 1950 and the aircraft was flown in RNethAF livery with the s/n D-101 till it was registered again on June 15, 1951, this time as PH-NEI.
An expected order for this crew-trainer did not materialize as the RNethAF had Beech aircraft donated by the USA. The prototype was transferred from Fokker to the Nederlands Instituut voor Vliegtuigbouw (Netherlands Institute for Aircraft Development) on August 4, 1953. Thereafter it was used by the Rijksluchtvaartschool (Government Flight Training School). The registration was cancelled on June 10, 1961, parts of the aircrat are still preserved in various institutions in the Netherlands."
