09/30/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This is the prototype ATP that made its first flight on August 6, 1986 and was operated by British Aerospace until the title was transferred to Jetstream Aircraft of Boca Raton, Florida, USA, on August 26, 1994 and reregistered G-PLXI.

Jetstream leased the aircraft to Air Wisconsin of Appleton, Wisconsin which operated as the largest privately held regional airline in the US and was a partner with United Air Lines operating as United Express. This aircraft was used for demonstration flights to the other United partners.

The aircraft was returned to England, withdrawn from use and stored at Manchester Woodford Airport, England, UK in March 1996. Title was transferred to British Aerospace (Operations) Ltd. on June 18, 1997 which was renamed BAe System (Operations) Ltd on March 2, 2000. This registration is still current as of this date, althought the aircraft was seen cannibalized in 2005."
