03/31/2008. Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "This one-of-a-kind homebuilt was probably completed around 1970-1975 and is attributed to Mr. Ivan Stracener of Newark, California, USA. Engine is reported to be a Lycoming O-320. Sadly the aircraft was lost in a fatal accident on March 18, 1985. The NTSB report mentions carburetor icing may have been a factor. Any additional info on the SX is welcomed very much." |
