04/30/2008. Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "The BushBird original design was a two to four-seat design of Daniel and Richard Fletcher and could operate on wheels, floats or skis. The one-of-a-kind aircraft was built over a 10 year period and first flew on August 14, 1979 under the power of a 150 hp Lycoming O-320-E2D engine. The aircraft was still active in 2008 and possibly had been re-engined with a more powerful Lycoming O-360." |
