Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "Bölkow Apparatenbau GmbH (in 1956 Bölkow Entwickelungen KG) continued development and production of the KL-107 and KL-107B lightplane designs of Hans Klemm Flugzeugbau. After having completed production of the 2-seat KL-107 and 3-seat KL-107B models Bölkow developed the improved KL-107C (3-seat) and 4-seat KL-107D (the lattter soon being re-designated as Bö-207).

The first Bö-207 was first flown on August 29, 1961 and some 91 or 92 were produced. The Bö-207 was powered by a 180 hp Lycoming O-360-A1A engine. D-EFJO was registered in April 1962 and deregistered after it was written off on July 14, 1996. However, the aircraft was rebuilt and reregistered D-EFJO in April 1997."
