Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "Bölkow-Entwickelungen KG continued production of the Hanns Klemm Flugzeugbau KL 107B and KL 107C, and developed the four-seat KL 107D (the lattter soon being redesignated as BO 207). The first BO 207 was first flown on August 29, 1961 and some 91 or 92 were produced. The BO 207 was powered by an 180 hp Lycoming O-360-A1A engine. D-EFJO was registered in April 1962 and deregistered after it was written off on July 14, 1996. However, the aircraft was rebuilt and reregistered D-EFJO in April 1997."
