04/30/2008. Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "Intended as both trainer and light sport aircraft, the all-metal GT-1 was designed by Philip Goard and Mark Redford of Goair Products Pty. Ltd. of Bankstown, Australia.

Engine was an 115 hp Lycoming O-235 and construction of VH-BBR took some 4 years, it first flew in July 1995. A pre-production aircraft (c/n 002) was registered VH-AYS on January 22, 2001, and was subsequently flown.

The type has been developed into the PG Aviation Brumby, the prototype was registered in the Australian CASA ultralight homebuilt class as 19-4462 in October 2005. The aircraft is being produced as a kit or as a completed aircraft."
