07/31/2009. Remarks by Walter van Tilborg: "Although inspired by the famous Pietenpol Aircamper, the FH-8 Der Flederhund was an original design homebuilt of Francis A. "Sonny" Mosel. The FH-8 was Mosel's first full-scale aircraft after he had constructed numerous model planes. The FH-8 first flew on December 16, 1992 and engine was a 75 hp VW2000."
