12/31/2009. First flown on July 2, 1956, this was an AOP.Mk.10 (military version of the Skeeter Mk.6) fitted with dual controls for RAF training evaluation. It is seen here being flown by a Saunders-Roe crew, performing a landing on a flat truck during the seventeenth Society of British Aerospace Companies Display, held at Farnborough from September 3 till 9, 1956. The aircraft was delivered to the RAF on December 18, 1956. It existed for only six years as it was broken up for spares on July 5, 1962.
