An early production aircraft, this BK 117A-3 was retained by MBB as
a demonstrator.
This other photo shows the same
aircraft some time (years?) later, restyled and named "Space Ship"
for marketing reasons. The colour art is arguably a positive change giving the
aircraft a "spacier look", it was designed by Luigi Colani.
