Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIC

12/31/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "As shown by the text "Last of the many" written below the canopy, this was the last Hurricane built, flown for the first time from Langley, Slough, Berkshire, UK, on July 22, 1944. It has been retained by Hawker and used as a communications, test and chase aircraft. Directly after WW II it was registered as G-AMAU and is preserved with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire, UK, since 1972."
