McDonnell Douglas YAV-8B Advanced Harrier

Built by Hawker Siddeley as Harrier Mk.50, it received the US designation AV-8A Harrier and served with the USMC. McDonnell Douglas rebuilt it as the first of two prototypes YAV-8B, flown in this form for the first time on November 9, 1978. Later it was transferred to the NASA registered as N704NA. It is now part of the Aviation Challenge Museum collection at Huntsville, Alabama, USA.
