This aircraft was built in Germany with assistance from an educational institute in Aachen, to improve the aircraft and have it comply with JAR-23 regulations. Before construction was finished the aircraft was acquired by Wilhelm Maul who also made the first and subsequent test flights. The alterations (known as the Europe-kit) also improved the performance and reduced the noise level considerably. The first flight was made in 1994, but was damaged on July 30, 1995 and subsequently de-registered. After rebuilt it was re-registered as D-EAVI and is still flown by Wilhelm Maul. The four-seat aircraft is controlled by a small stick in between the two front seats. It is powered by an 180 hp Lycoming IO-360 B1B engine driving a 3-blade constant speed pusher propeller.
