10/31/2006. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "In 1994 the conceptual design of this aircraft was declared a joint winner in the Royal Aeronautical Society Light Aircraft Design Competition. Construction started in 1996 and the first flight was made on July 13, 2004 by Roger Bailey, test pilot at Cranfield University."
