10/31/2007. This single-seat twin-engined shoulder wing night fighter,
designed to Air Ministry Specification 27/24, diverted from the
traditional single-engined biplane. It was powered by a pair of 230 hp
Armstrong Siddeley Lynx radial engines and fitted with two Vickers
machine guns which were set to the sides of the forward fuselage.
First flown in February 1927, the type was heavily underpowered, and
it was not taken into production.
