12/31/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Powered by an 100 hp Rolls-Royce Continental O-200-A flat four-cylinder engine, this aircraft was first flown in November 1975. By January 1977 20 had been ordered and 10 had been built. Wassmer went into liquidation on September 16, 1977. A new company, Issoire-Aviation, was formed on February 1, 1978, taking over the premises and assets of Wassmer, hence the WA.80 became the Issoire IA 80 Piranha."
