01/31/2008. Remarks by
Johan Visschedijk: "The Guanabara four-seat liaison and executive transport aircraft was developed by the IPD (Research and Development Institute) of the Brazilian AF from the two-seat Fokker S.12 T-22. It was fitted with a 250 hp Lycoming O-540-A1A six-cylinder horizontally-opposed air-cooled engine (replacing the original 190 hp O-435A), a retractable tricycle landing gear, and wing tip fuel tanks. The first Guanabara was flown in early 1964 and fifteen were delivered to the Brazilian AF."
