12/31/2010. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Fleet Air Arm No. 860 (Dutch) Squadron, took over some twenty Barracuda Mk.IIIs of No. 822 Squadron on June 30, 1945. They were briefly operated by the Dutch-manned squadron from successively Ayr, HMS Nairana, Fearn and Saint Merryn. From May 9, 1946, No. 860 (Dutch) Squadron started converting to the Fairey Firefly, and in September 1946, squadron control was handed over to the Dutch navy."
