07/07/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The aircraft was procured by the USN as a research aircraft for the NACA, and was never operated as a naval aircraft. The NACA operated the aircraft from September 1935 to 1946, marked as NACA "82" as can be seen in the photo."
