This RF-84F-1-RE was the first production aircraft built for the USAF and delivered in March 1954. Of the 715 aircraft build, 386 were delivered as part of the MAP to NATO-members Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway and Turkey. The type was also delivered to the Chinese Nationalist AF.
The pictured aircraft has the types name written below the cockpit, later it was diverted to the Italian AF.
