Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was manufactured in 1961, it was reregistered C-FLWW before the registration was cancelled from the Canadian Civil Aircraft Register on February 10, 1993. The Piper Aztec is the PA-23 Apache G with a new rear fuselage, swept fin/rudder, higher take off weight, more powerful engines, etc. Piper allocated the designation PA-27 to the Aztec and the construction numbers use 27, but the official designation stayed PA-23, and the Aztec was certified under the Type Certificate of the PA-23 Apache."
