08/14/1961. Found Bros. Aviation, Ltd., Malton, Ontario, Canada, is testing its
utility FBA-2A with Edo Model 2870 floats. The all-metal, four/five-seat, 250 hp Lycoming-powered aircraft will be available in
tricycle version, the 2B, or a tail wheel version, the 2C, which is
suitable for ski operations. Both configurations, according to the
company, can be mounted on floats.
06/15/1964. The FBA-2C, as the first bush aircraft in the under-4,500
lb (2041 kg)- category to be produced in Canada since WW II, is in a position
to place a major roadblock in the path of US aircraft manufacturers
now importing similar airplanes into Canada duty-free. The FBA-2C has
been under development by Found Brothers Aviation Ltd., for more than
10 years.
