01/22/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft made its first flight on June 12, 1958 and with s/n 20720 it was issued to No. 405 (Maritime Patrol) Squadron, RCAF, based at Greenwood, Nova Scotia, on July 17, 1958. By 1962, it had been reassigned to No. 415 (Maritime Patrol) Squadron based at Summerside, Prince Edward Island. On May 4, 1970, it was reassigned s/n 10720 to conform to the new Canadian Armed Forces standard and in June 1974, the aircraft was again serving with No. 405 (MP) Squadron. It was struck off charge September 2, 1981 and scrapped in 1982." |
