07/31/2014. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This Vega produced B-17G-105-VE was put on display at this gas station in 1947. View this early photo of the gas station owner Art Lacey and his crew. On May 26, 2008 the aircraft was pictured without a nose section, which is under restoration at the B-17 Alliance Museum at Milwaukie, Oregon. In August 2014 the aircraft, effectively known as Lacey Lady, will be transferred from the former gas station to the museum for further restoration."
