09/30/2007. Manufactured for the USN under BuNo. 66302, transferred to the USCG and used for SAR and weather reconnaissance missions. Sold in 1959, registered as N2871G it flew for 10 years with Avery Aviation of Greybull, Wyoming, and was converted to a tanker. It was used by Hawkins and Powers Aviation from 1969 to 2003. |
