Remarks by Dave Fletcher: "This photo was not taken 'somewhere in Europe, but in Canada. Aircraft V9323 was an RCAF Lysander Mark IIITT (for Target Tug). It was taken on strength October 14, 1942 and struck off June 25, 1946. It was converted to a target tug (hence the black and yellow stripes) on January 15, 1943. My source is 'Canadian Military Aircraft' by John Griffin, which was compiled from RCAF record cards."
