10/17/1960. The internationally famous aerobatic show of No. 111 Squadron, RAF, has its final performance at the British Farnborough Air Show, England, UK, in September. The squadron is exchanging its highly maneuverable subsonic Hunter Mk.6 fighters for the supersonic English Electric Lightning. The squadron began its show with an 18-plane loop over Farnborough. The squadron has done a 22-plane loop.
