McKillop: "This aircraft made its first flight on June 19,
1958 and was delivered to Continental Air Lines of Los Angeles,
California, USA, seven days later registered N244V. It was sold to
the British airline Channel Airways on April 29, 1966 and registered
G-ATUE. Channel leased it to Treffield International Airlines between
December 1966 and 1967 and it was sold to Alidair on May 28, 1972.
The aircraft was stored at East Midlands Airport, Leicestershire,
England in May 1972 and subsequently scrapped."
