McKillop: "This was the fifth Caravelle built and it made its
first flight on May 9, 1959 registered F-BHRC. It was delivered to the
French carrier Air France on May 15, 1959 and named 'Anjou'. In 1961,
it was converted to a Caravelle III with more powerful engines. The
Senegal Government reserved the registration 6V-ACP for this aircraft
and bought it on December 28, 1971, registered it 6V-AAR and named its
'Fleche des Almadies'. In March 1985, it was withdrawn from use and
was used as a ground instructional airframe at Dakar, Senegal." View also the History
