Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft made its first flight on September 11, 1959 registered N714G and was delivered to the the US company Union Producing Company one week later as an executive transport. Union Producing was renamed the Pennzoil Company in February 1970 and this Gulfstream was reregistered N1607Z.
In July 1984, it was sold to the US carrier Royale Airlines, a small commuter airline operating in Louisiana and Texas, and reregistered N723RA in October of that year. The company went bankrupt and this aircraft was repossessed by a bank in September 1987. It was purchased by Aviation Supply Corp. in June 1988 and was withdrawn from use and scrapped at Shreveport, Louisiana in August 1988."
