Note the Rolls-Royce or Bentley under the wing... this aircraft may have brought a member of the UK Royal family on a tour. N31241 was re-registered to BOAC as G-APFB. It went to British Airways who leased it to Caledonian Airways. The aircraft was broken up at Kingman, Arizona, and the forward fuselage went to Boeing's plant at Renton, Washington, USA, for E-3A tests. Source: Aero Transport Data Base
