01/22/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft was delivered to the US Navy on May 31, 1943 with BuNo. 12488. This R5O-5 was transferred to the US Coast Guard on October 12, 1944 which operated it until May 1950 and later sold to a commercial company and registered N1125V. It was subsequently reregistered N74Y in 1957. After passing through a number of owners, it ws withdrawn from use at Dallas, Texas, USA in April 1966 and the registration was cancelled in January 1971. Its fate is unknown." |
