Remarks by Ron Dupas: "This aircraft was built in 1934 as a 247, converted to D model in 1935. Owners have been United Air Lines, Quebec Airways, Canadian Pacific Airlines, and its last owner, Standard Oil of California, USA.

Standard Oil donated it to the Canada Aviation Museum in 1968, and it is still on display as of this day."
