Aircraft: Henley Aerodrome Fokker Dr.I, registration: N50CH
Injuries: 1 Serious.
A homebuilt Henley Aerodrome Fokker Dr.I crashed after takeoff.

extensive experience maintaining and flying homebuilt aircraft and biplanes, but
had never flown a tri-wing aircraft before.
The aircraft climbed to approximately 50 ft (15 m) after takeoff and maintained that
altitude down the length of the runway. At the end of the runway the aircraft
began a skidding left turn and a climb. While in the turn the aircraft nose
pitched down and the aircraft dove into the ground. Source: NTSB
