03/15/2003. Remarks by Chris Pinn: "EJ743 in pristine "end of line" condition on a test flight from Langley in March 1945. This aircraft features the flush mounted Mk.V Hispano 0.787 in (20 mm) cannons which replaced the short barrel Hispanos as seen on the earlier Tempest Mk.V Series I in photo No. 2333."
