08/18/2004. Remarks by Håkan Gustavsson: "For factory test flights the export B-339s were registered. The registration usually consisted of the construction number prefixed by 'NX' and was followed by the 'B' for Brewster.

Shown is the first of fourty B-339Bs ordered by Belgium carrying Belgian markings. The cargoship delivering this first aircraft to Belgium diverted to France following the occupation of Belgium. Eventually it was captured in France by the Germans and taken to Germany for testing. Finally it was scrapped at Darmstadt."
