Built in 1944 by Brush Coachworks for the RAF as Dominie Mk.I, s/n NR683. Aircraft was converted to Dragon Rapide and registered as G-AHXW to the Ministry of Supply and tranferred to British European Airways, later it was owned by Fairey Air Surveys and G. R. M. Airwork. In March 1971 it was sold to the EAA Museum at Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA. Now it is still on the FAA register, owned and being restored by William B. (Bud) Field and John M. Reed, of Portland, Oregon, USA. |
