The aircraft was assigned to the 355th Fighter Squadron, 354th Operations Group, 354th Fighter Wing, Eleventh Air Force, Pacific Air Forces and based at Eielson AFB located about 26 mls (42 km) southeast of Fairbanks, Alaska, USA."
